guillermoGuillermo has been teaching Spanish and English for the past 13 years.  He is a certified Berlitz Instructor and also a certified Cambridge Instructor. Guillermo was born in Mexico City where he got his degree in Hotel Bussiness Administration at a private college, Escuela Mexicana de  Turismo. Next he attended the University of Quebec in Montreal where he got a diploma in Food and Beverages. In the late 70’s he worked in Canada in the hotel business and later as an interpreter for the Canadian goverment in the Inmigration Departament. He moved to New York City in the 80` s where he worked for several years as an Art Dealer. Next, in the 90’s,  he  returned to Mexico City and ran a Hotel training programm for Sheraton International in several resort towns in Mexico and eventually was hired by the Berlitz Schools  of America  where he was certified to teach Spanish and English as Second Languages. For the last 10 years Guillermo has been living part of the year in Todos Santos, Baja California Sur where he teaches and conducts tours to Cuba and Columbia focused on culture and language. The rest of the year Mexico City is his base.
